New Paintings

What? Words and pictures on the form of posts don’t magically appear? I guess that’s what happens when you spend a week on the beach without a computer.

When I got back home I decided something in my house just didn’t feel right, and it was this wall.

I wanted to keep the shelving, but it all looked like a big mishap of little things that were thrown onto it to fill up space, which is exactly what happened.

It all went into a pile and left me with completely empty shelves. Ahh, less clutter to stare at. I can breathe again.

I really want a fresh, clean and modern look. Summer has been trying to speak to me, but so has my wallet and I do not feel like spending a lot of money on it. I decided on using some old canvases I had stored away and made some new art.

It is just  a few colorful circles on canvas with the deep edge.

This time around I didn’t want to be so quick to try and fill up the space for the sake of filling the space. So if it looks a little underwhelming, then bear with me, it’s still a work in progress. We can’t all live in an episode of an HGTV show and have everything done for us in a day. It would be nice though!

These paintings are available in my Etsy shop now, or if you would like them in another color, I’m available for custom work!

  1. I can’t stop looking at your white sofa + white patterned pillows. LOVE them together!

Kelly- I haven’t quite conquered the maintenance of a white slip covered sofa, but I’m very close I can tell. I made the blue criss-cross pillow because I couldn’t find what I was looking for and I love it now!

Kristin- Oh you’re so sweet! I had the best time in Florida. Thanks for the encouragement!

I missed your posts last week! I hope the beach was amazing. I definitely understand not living in an episode of an HGTV show … Take your time! Hope you find the perfect accessories!
